550 BHP DMS Automotive upgrade!

The details I have are a little sketchy, but here are the headline numbers/ stats:
1. Complete delimit
2. c.45 extra BHP
3. c.40 lbft torque

Apparently drivability is improved and fuel consumption is unaffected. There is a full road test in the next issue of BMW Car mag on sale in the UK from Jan 19th. They tested the car at the track and had it past 186 MPH three up in 6th gear! 0-60 MPH drops to 4.4s

And the cost . . . only c.£1600 + VAT which is pretty good value given that the car is then truely a 200+ machine. Not sure what the tyres can take and we all know the brakes are lame under hard use . . . but for the occassional blat upto to Vmax and back down again, on an autobahn or track obviously, then barring the tyres everything should be ok. www.dmsautomotive.com

There's nothing on their website yet but I'm sure they will be. DMS are very well respected by all accounts and sell the conversion with a warranty at extra cost I believe as well as a reassurance that the conversion doesn't show on any BMW diagonistics.

If it's as good as they say then I'll be in the queue with you guys
