Calling all Houston, TX M5 members....

How many Houston area M5 owners do we have on the board? Do any of you guys know how many M5s we have in the Houston area?

I have no idea since I travel from my residence in the Kingwood area to my company out on 225 near the ship channel. Certainly not prime M5 ground along East Beltway 8. My other route is up to Austin to my second home out at Lake Travis.

I would like to get some regular M5 meets going here in Houston.

Let me know what you guys think.

Power on..........

I'm game for a meet.

Galleria area might prove most convenient.

Thanks for the post. Hopefully, we can get more posts than just the two of us. May be a slow day or days with Christmas. We will see.

I will start a list to keep up with all local M5ers.

Re: Calling all Houston, TX M5 members....

Hey guys,

I'd be up for a meet. Just got my '03 less than a month ago. Picked it up in Cali and drove it back to Houston - a good 1600 miles to start getting used to the beast.

But, it'll have to be after mid-Jan. Just got to Jo'burg, South Africa for a little vacation/visit with the parents. Get back to Houston on Jan 12th.

I'd definitely be interested in getting together and sharing our (mainly yours at this point) collective knowledge. Hopefully we'll have more people show up on the board and we'll get a decent sized meet going.

Incidentally, this is my first post on this (or any M5) forum. I have to say - it's a great way to learn things about the car!

Great WraithCar! Glad that you found the board. It is interesting and very, very helpful at times. As I posted before, I am making a list of the board names of everyone that replies so we can get organized later for a meet and pssibly a local M5 club if we get enough participation/interest.

No, this is not Dell but I know Dell. I considered buying his 5 back earlier this year. Dell and I were considering a swap - my M3 for his M5, but I think he went for a 'vette in the end and I kept my 3 until the mods were completed on my 5. I sold my 3 to a young guy from CA that goes by Marku5 on the M3Forum. Are you the guy that bought Dell's 5?

Coincidentally, my last name is Delamore, so I guess I could be "Del"....
