It's good to get some company. My car has been feeling lonely.

Re: Delivery at 3PM TODAY-Houston!!!!!

Control the devil in you by focusing on and experimenting with all of the cool gadgets and features of the car. Play with SMG and test the effects of the different settings. You may wish to use the D modes extensively. Play with your phone, EDC modes, the voice command system, the audio, the comfort seat adjustments, active seat bolsters, iDrive/mDirve config stuff, seat ventilation settings, Sat radio, etc. Use the excellent cruise control a lot, though be careful to frequently change the speed and/or gear. Take lots of long trips.

DO ALL OF THIS TO DISTRACT YOU FROM THE FACT THAT YOU ARE IN A CAR WHOSE AMAZING PERFORMANCE IS ACCESSIBLE WITH A MERE PUSH OF A BUTTON AND PEDAL. If you are dilligent, you might make it through most of the break-in period without nailing the sucker too much.

Steve, congratulations. Somehow we're in the same production week but mine is not here yet. Hopefully by next week. The wait is "killing me".

Re: Delivery at 3PM TODAY-Houston!!!!!

congratulations... too much to digest all it can do... when i do get mine , i plan to give her a good brake in, particularly varying speeds( moderate speed acceleration ///deceleration))this is the most difficult part... and wasteful on gas... also i plan to use all the 279+? combinations in the manual )Ok ..well not the LC and the verboten things during the brake in period but trying to give almost equal time to the different programs ( sort of like full range of motion excercises)... this is the time to relish each program and note what you like and dont like and would tell the engineers to change(if they would listen). i'm sure some of the progams maybe almost identical to the another choice.. hey guys you got a complicated car.... part of the real fun lets see ...What is the wierdest combination ever??? 500 BHP, D1. EDC soft. M dynamic mode, normal servetronic etc.. etc... LEts just hope this thing is reliable..
