Comfort or Sport Seats?

Can anyone help. Sat in a Seprang Bronze last night with perf seats that were so very comfortable. I have ordered mine with the full leather Portland interior sport seats and now I want the comfort seats. My salesman say’s that they are the same seat but as we all have heard they are not the same style seats. Has anyone in US gotten non perf seats in full leather? Are these seats softer that the E39? I really have trouble sitting in hard seats and love the soft seats. Will I be sorry that I ordered without the Perf seats?

Please help. The dealer is willing to sell this unit at MSRP but I will lose my $3000 deposit from another dealer.

Thanks

OK, a little off topic, but why lose $3k? If you have an MSRP deal, can't you just sell your spot to someone else who can move up?
Regards,
Jerry

My other car was ordered and is scheduled to be out of production on Nov 2. I can't make any changes and can't sell the spot. If someone wants the car from Jacksonville Fl they could buy at list and then I could probably get my money back. Any takers?

Re: Comfort or Sport Seats?

Has your car gone into production? If not you can still change it.

The problem is that you ordered the "M Multifunction Seats" instead of the stock steats and now you're worried about them being less comfortable? The M seats are basicly the same.

Ok, can't change the options, but you CAN sell your spot. Simply assign the contract to whomever takes over, you get $3k, and they step into your shoes. Unless the contract specifically says it is NOT assignable, Florida law says it is. Makes sense, dealer is selling a piece of property, he really shouldn't care who shows up with the check.
And if the dealer sells it at the same price as you contracted for, they technically can't keep the extra money, over and above any extra expenses (but good luck getting it back as a practical matter). PM me if you want to discuss. Good luck.
Regards,
Jerry

I ordered the stock seats not the M Multifunction seats. If they indeed are the same then I can just keep my order. That is the question I am asking. Are these seats really the same?

I have the perforated multifunction seats, and they are the 7 series comfort seats with active bolsters added. The regular seats look like the ones in the brochure. I LOVE my comfort seats, very good support, don't slide around, vents work well, and I even like the active bolsters, they DO help in corners and give a little back massage as well. I just hope they always keep working, seem pretty complicated.
