OIL Castrol Edge
Hi. I've been trying to find the new Castrol Edge SAE10W-60 all around London, and nobody seems to have it. My oil level is down to 0.2 l and I'm getting worried. Does anybody know where I can find it (BMW dealers don't have it)?

Halfords stock it but don't buy it. Stick with Castrol TWS 10W60. Do not buy Castrol RS either. You can get TWS from your local BMW dealer (around £13 a litre) or most independent BMW specialists (around £10 a litre).

I repeat - only use Castrol TWS 10W60.

Engine oil is like blood in our body (the fluid that is pumped by the heart) therefore You need a right type. So only use Castrol TWS 10W60 !

Castrol TWS 10w60 is avaiable at all BMW dealers here in the states for about $12.oo US per quart. I think we should all stop by our local BMW parts department and put a couple of quarts in the trunks of our new M5's for the break in period

I think I will stick with the Castrol TWS, and wait a bit more for the Castrol Edge to afirm itself in the market. Thanks very much guys.

I bought the car in Germany (Heidelberg). I think he has the EDGE but I'm not sure, has the oil only came out on 26-09-2005 and I bought the car in 10/09/2005. I think I will give him a ring.
