Hartge Exhaust Question??

For those who installed Hartge Exhaust System.. Can you please tell the difference from the oem exhaust? for example when starting the engine? while driving? Or if you can post some videos let us hear the sound of the car.. I really found the M5 so muted, which i think its bit annoying when you come to say its an M car..

Last night when i was at MB showroom the sales man i know told me to start the engine and when he heard the sound he told me is it a diesel!! i told him no its not.. i reved the car and then he noticed the engine sound.. he told me that it doesnt have the roar of AMG cars..

Re: Hartge Exhaust Question??

I have the 'export' version of their mufflers/silencers and they are definitely a better, deeper, louder more throaty rumble at idle and with revs inside and outside the car.

The diesel type sound will not change if you are outside at the front of the car, if you are standing behind the front doors you don't here the diesel type sound only the exhaust.
