Comfort access option. Why $1K for M5 when $500 for E90 same option code?

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the comfort access offered for the M5 and other BMW cars? I have ordered it for my E90 325i and it was $500. For the M5 it is $1000. My dealer rep says its the same option code. Why the difference in price, more options with the M5 access system?

BMW probably decided that since you can afford the E60, you'll have no problem paying double for the same option that's offered for half the price on the E90.

Absolutely. There are a number of options on the M5 which are more expensive than on lesser E60s (e.g. 545) which makes no sense at all. Complete ripoff
