Troy stays super busy, great problem to have when your running a business. I'm still saving up my pennies to send my engine in to be stroked some day/overhaul to make it more solid than OEM.

my M5 is 'stockish'

He's slammed I know that. I have been trying to buy a few things from him but its a waste of time.

Thats the thing with Troy, people know what he is like and buy stuff from him. Then complain.

The thing is, no matter how good the work - when your baby is under the knife, you want communication. The whole thing is traumatic enough. A little bedside manner goes a long way.

How hard is it to hire a college kid part time to deal with these emails and requests? I know that when I have a hard time getting responses on little matters, I think long and hard before entrusting that person with big matters.

From what I gather, he tried it and it never worked out.

So try again - maybe with someone who's taking a mechanic / engine course - even a high school kid who is doing "shop". You know - someone who can learn the jargon and which ones to answer his / herself and which ones to get help on. My gawd. How hard is it to respond to "the part isn't off the car yet - we'll send it and email you when it's shipped".
