Out of hibernation

Finally found a good engine for the right price. Started removing the engine earlier today, it's all ready to drop down after 3 hours of working on it. Can't wait to start driving the car again it's been almost 6 months

Did you swap out the bearings/vanos line during the install?

Congrats!

Not yet, I can do the bearings after I'm done and verified that the engine is healthy. What vanos line? Might do that before I put it in

I'd be surprised if you could only buy half a block. Those two are machined together so you don't want to swap halves either. Then again BMW may be special lol...

Can't buy half a block, besides both sides got punctured by the rod and have huge openings
