George, I meet you at the car spa a couple of weeks ago. You had your black 06M5. So far so good with the new car. Unfortunately my wife was driving our 996 Porsche and was it on the drivers side. The main thing is she is fine other than being sore. The car is finished! To bad not a scratch onit before. I checked out the new 997 S. Test it today.

Just got it on 6th of November. Silver Metalic w/all option except rear folding/heat/ski seat. Love it so far, aside from being paranoid from the well know vanos oil line leak problem! Have about 300 miles so far - oh so good!!
Mine was delivered Nov. 23 (made for a great Thanksgiving!).
Sapphire Black with black interior and aluminum trim. Getting ready for it's 1200 mile check.
I was on this board with my 2002 and 2003 M5's then out of commission for a year or two. It's great to be back, now with 10 cylinders!
