New member here - I recently bought a used 2006 M5, Silverstone (Titansilber) on Silverstone, no mods except for a Britax Roundabout.
I've fallen in LOVE with this car!! Quite an upgrade from my '98 528i. I'm not planning on any mods until I've driven it stock for a while. I'm in the San Jose, CA area, and would be interested in meetups to go for drives, etc.

Just traded my E39 for an 06 M5 SMG, ventilated seats, heated rear seats, power sun shades, logic 7 sound, fold rear seat, comfort access, and something else i cant remember. I also love my new ride!! This is no lie, I actually get a rush when driving it. My heart beats fast!! The sound, power and comforty is unreal!!! It is a whole other beast compared to my E39.

It's easy to tell which. The E60 is the saloon/sedan the E61 is the wagon/Touring version.
Either way congratulations. I've had mine over 3 years and it still brings great pleasure every drive.
