Freshened up the front end!

I had my local body shop repaint the front bumper as 10 years of use (79k) had left a fair share of chips. While the bumper was off we installed Phillips 6k HIDs, installed new style grills, and a carbon fiber lip extension. The lip compliments the carbon on the hood as well. Came out very well. Now just need to put on the front spacers to bring out the front wheels and she will be done. Here are a few pics.

That looks great, who makes the lip? I've been looking for one that doesn't have the outside ends rolling up.

A shop called BMWOEM Shop. I found it on eBay. It is dry carbon fiber and was about $220. Nothing crazy priced as I figured it would look good and protect the bottom of the factory bumper and for that price, would be worth trying. It fit well and went on with no issues.

As much as I would love a nice CF (not an ebay one) they get beat up pretty bad. I have an Ebay one and its already got cracks and road rash on it. Not bothered as it didnt cost to much but if I had an expensive one, I'd be gutted.

Exactly the reason I went this route. It's a decent piece that looks great but will protect the freshly painted bumper on the bottom side.

I almost bought this hood from the previous owner. Still kicking myself for not getting it. This car also has the AC Schnitzer CF trims correct? You got a good deal on it.
