Preventative Fuel Injector Replacement?

Hello, I was wondering if it is necessary to do a preventative fuel injector replacement? I have an 06 with 70k miles and am going to be replacing my throttle actuators and figured since it is apart, should I replace the injectors too. I did my plugs recently and with the Bosch injectors inexpensive, is it worth it to do those too? Thanks

Its not a bad idea, I would also change out your fuel filter as well.

If you really want to be hype vigilant throw a fuel pressure gauge on before the fuel rail to see if pressure drops shortly after shutting off the car.

Thanks for the replies. I did end up ordering them, along with 2 new throttle actuators. I think I will be ordering a new fuel filter soon as well.

any opinions on the spareto.com injectors? the reason that they're so cheap is what? I think that they're the old discontinued ones that leaked all the time and led to wash down in a cylinder. Any thoughts or comments on that??

I've searched for the BOSCH 0 280 158 036 part number and it doesn't seem to exist. The 0 280 158 037 seems to be for BMW motorcycles.

I'm all for getting a good price, but this seems to be at the forgery level, or very very old injectors. I did find this link but no price

Okay, going to replace the metal clips as well, but which clips should I get?: 13531274729 or 13537528539

The 8539 one if your production date is after 09/2006. The 4729 one is up to 09/2006 (i.e. 04, 05, and 06 model years).
