Driver side window switch no longer working

I had one of these crazy rotating mirrors on the driver side so I cut the red wire to it to stop that from happening... in the process I (being dumb and not disconnecting the battery) accidentally had the red wire touch ground and since then:

- window switch on the driver side no longer working, no led light up etc.
- window switch on passenger side working still, can lower top with windows going up and down etc.

wondering if a fuse's broken or if I actually fried the window switch electronics

I checked voltages on the connector to the window switch and found only 5v on one of them, no 12v.

any ideas? 2006 M6 conv

Thank you for posting the solution.

On the way to different shop with more advanced software to diagnose similar problem. All fuses checked showed continuity with multimeter.
Saw your post, rechecked 32 visually, bam.
