So, my left HID headlight stopped working few weeks back. Ended up buying a replacement headlight unit due to the fact that the halo wires deteriorated so bad and fell apart. Turns out that I had a moisture issue and water got in the lights ruining the AHL and ballast.
I recieved the usual warnings for AHL and bulb out warnings. After I replaced the headlight and installed everything with new parts (bulb, ahl, and ballast), everything works fine . . . except the startup tilt procedure.
Both headlights tilt opposite of each other. Normally, they both should tilt down, then back up and level out. But the left tilts up and then back down, while the right tilts down and then back up. They eventually meet back in the middle.
Is there a certain procedure to get both headlight startup procedures back on track?
I would hate to go to the dealer if I can rectify this myself. Any info for a solution is gladly welcomed.
