I thought the e9x M3 final drive was 3.15 on the DCT car.

It is but I used 3.61 as no-one mentioned changing the diff ratio in the thread. Otherwise just use the E9x data.

Not unless they've figured out way to reprogram the DSC as well. One set of wheel speeds directly feed the DME, another set is transmitted over PT-CAN from DSC to DME. Not likely anyones altering DSC module code, it doesn't have separate calibration area like the DME and no A2L (map file) is available; all changes would be made in program code via reverse engineering the disassembled code.

Way easier to swap the rear ratio and keep everyone happy.

So, someone doing a DTC conversion would also run the 3.15 rear differential?

Makes sense to me. Keeps the engine and DCT operating in the range it was designed for.
