ISTA/D is the tool to use. In my latest version of ISTA+, I found the bleeding procedure under service jobs. It is a guided procedure. Fire it off and follow the steps. Repeat it a couple of times as many have reported the need for that to be successful.

Is it okay to start the car up without running the Vanos bleeding test? Or do i have to follow the test on my very first start up of the car?

Of course i will upload all the pictures that i took, i didnt take pictures of the basics like removing the intakes etc. Maybe we can make it into a DIY guide for others.

You need pressure to bleed it so the engine must run. All it does is cycle the valves back and forward in an attempt to purge trapped air that way.

I am getting vanos control exhaust bank 1/2 codes in DIS Vanos control on both cylinder banks show fault what could be the cause of this. The vanos stops on both cylinder banks are show no fault but the Vanos control show fault generic code shows as p0025 and p0015?

I wonder if some adjustment is needed. Are you sure you installed the VANOS system correctly? You are getting a 7000 RPM DME emergency limit as well?

For some odd reason i am having issues with DIS V57 it is not working properly for me. Everything works fine i can read the faults and the codes but as soon as i go to start the bleeding process when it says run car at idle so it can warm up the connection ends as soon as i start the car and i get error number 200.95 this never happened to me before for some reason this is keeping me from bleeding the system so its taking me a while to post back the results.

I will upload pictures as soon as i am done writing it up in Word the process.

If anyone can shine a light on the DIS issue that i am having would be great.

The crank drops out the battery voltage and the OBD dongle goes offline for a moment. DIS Does not like it. Try to start the process in DIS with the engine already running?
