Some ISTA/D improvements

Just got ISTA 4.02.30 up and running and there are a few nice changes. One I'm happy of is that they reworked deleting a fault memory bug on E series using a K-DCAN cable.

The 2 pictures below are of the same screen. Couldn't fit the whole screen in and still read the words so the first picture is the left side. What I find nice is that under vehicle management and service function, where we go most of the time, that there are many more choices when power train is selected. The second picture is the right half of the screen and has many more choices now for the power train selection. I haven't run a clutch readaption yet but hopefully the com fault where it says "the ignition isn't on please turn it on" message is fixed.

What was the previous version you used?
I scanned using 3.44.30 & it gave me a clean bill of health.
Scanned using 4.02.14 & gave errors. I'm able to confirm the same errors in INPA 5.06.
Oh well, over 3 years of ownership & I'm finally spending $$$ on repairs.

I think it was 4.01.20 maybe. I had only used the previous version a few weeks before I got this newer one. I one previous was the first new non Rheingold version which is now called ISTA+.

Got a hold of 4.03.13. Decided to clear error codes & received an error message clearing the codes but it cleared it anyway. Is that the bug you are referring to? Unfortunately, I didn't get a screen capture of the message.

I just got ISTA+ 4.02 as well from Rheingold USA. Had to get a new PC as my older Rheingold was put on top of windows 7 32-bit and ISTA+ only plays along with an 64-bit version. And I did not want to decommission it yet.

It was distributed with .NET 4.5.2 but ISTA would not start. After a couple of back and forwards with Rheingold without avail I installed .NET 4.6.2, the latest windows 7 .NET version and it worked. So they distribute it with the wrong .NET version. That is a bit annoying and I brought it to their attention. I wanted to avoid all this usual installation hassle but still got my share. Aside from that, you still need to apply the vcdist_x64 update to get scroll bars as well. Just wanted everybody to know that.

I used Windows 10 x64 w/ 4.02 & 4.03, didn't have an issue with .Net
I did get "Failed to start ISTA. Please make sure your ISTA configuration is valid" error.
Fixed by:
1. Installing Visual C++ redist 2015 x86 (even though I'm running 64bit)
2. Creating a shortcut to ISTAGUI.exe that launches it as Administrator
