BC Coilover options

I see on the BC page there are options for "extra low" and "extenders"? Do I need to worry about any of these if I am just looking to be about H&R height? Also, who has these in stock for our cars?

I would not worry about any of those options and do not remember getting any of them. Mine are set about half way down and I'm pretty low already. I got mine from eBay years ago and most distributors have them readily available for our cars. Price if I recall was around $1k shipped, but that was 6-7 years ago.

You don't need any of those things. I have them set for no wheel gap all around and they're perfect. I think I paid right around $1000 for them. You can even find them on Amazon. I got mine through the shop who did my install.

Thanks guys, was just checking. Sure I wanted the B16 EDC coilovers but the price is steep when considering I've had BCs on my other car for 4 years now and I'm a pretty happy camper with those. My car came with Dinan S2 springs but it still looks like a jacked up 4X4 to me.

I've had BC's for years and would get them again. For what are and price, you can't go wrong.

Pain to remove originals or hard to line up the new ones? My car has dinan springs so I am hoping there is slightly more clearance to get them out. Last time I did these on another car the rear control arm has to be pryed down, alot of force like the control arm is spring loaded.

I decided to put in an audio system since I was dismantling the entire rear of the car...
I like my BC's in general. I did ask for the extenders - they allow adjustment of the rear shocks after you put the rear deck back in.
I should say I've developed a click during hard steering bumps from both front top mounts. Could be coming from the camber plates, not sure yet

To the OP, unless you're looking to join Stance Nation, you won't need the "extra low" variety. I ran BC's on my old E46 M3, and the standard set go plenty low enough. The extenders are just that, they extend the adjuster knob so that you can adjust the dampening in the rear without removing the carpeting from the trunk walls. I bought a pair for my E46 years ago but once I found a setup I liked, I rarely adjusted them. I'd probably just skip them unless you plan on changing the dampening daily.
