Thank you. In australia we use ron 98 as premium fuel. Is that your 93 octane that is listed??

Also does this tune include the faster shift speeds and mid range vanos improvments as mentioned above? Thanks

M5 E60 Silverstone, evolve tune, eventuri intake

98 RON is about 93.5 US Octane, so essentially yes. IMO, it wouldn't be worth pushing and developing the timing maps for an additional 0.5 octane over what is already in use.

The VANOS and shift speeds are coming soon, still trying to work out an issue with Randy's car before I push them to everyone else. I'm 99.9% certain the problem is unrelated, but not willing to rule it out until his hiccup is fixed.

Hi Jim,

I ordered your tune last week - just curious what version of the tune I can expect?

Also, Will you offer new development updates to end users as they become available?

Thanks, super stoked and patiently waiting for the flash-loader to arrive in the mail!!

Shipped yesterday, you should have it tomorrow.

Yes, all new features will be offered free of charge to existing customers as they are developed and tested.

Instructions for the process are located here:
FAMS nFlash Tablet User's Manual

Once I have your base file, it will take around 48 hours to modify and return to you via email.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Congrats!

For your pre-LCI, the flash takes less time than drinking a Coors.

12oz or 16oz? Haha.

I was nervously calling friends to source a battery charger before I attempt to connect to the DME - didn't think my battery tender would be up to the task. Thoughts?

You'll be fine without it on a pre-LCI car. I do it at gas pumps.

Seriously, it will take you longer to finsh your shift beer at the brewery, than to load your tune.
