No data logs and no time to get to a dyno, but just a quick video from my dashcam.

I'm merging, on an uphil, from a near full-stop. I'm full throttle in first and second, and lift going into third and forth.

@Revo is in the car with me. He has driven many of our members different e60s, and has driven my e60, too many times to keep count. Just listen...

A couple hours after the above video was taken, I drove Woody's car for the 9000th time (I've driven it through every handling/power/mod iteration for the last 3-4 years).

It had been a while since I had driven his car and even then I knew the car was very different than it was before in a very good way. Car pulls so much smoother yet so much faster through the entire rev band. I don't know how else to put it. If we weren't selling ours I'd order this tune now. That said, /start plug/ if anyone knows anyone looking for a clean, well maintained E60, let me know /end plug/.

The M5 is my dad's - but I drive it more than he does!

Sold Sept '16. It was an amazing 7 years.

I have a pre-FAMS 60-130mph video (just a handheld phone vid of the speedo) which i am going to post on top of / next to my post-FAMS 60-130 vid, both with stopwatch timers layered on top.

Obviously nothing conclusive but will give a good idea of the difference. Just waiting for conditions matching the first run. Been promising this for a while. Hopefully this weekend.

Interesting. The second one sounds more aggressive but it doesn't look like there is much difference in performance - of course it's hard to tell watching one video and then the next.

Watch them both with the sound off and tell me if you see any difference? The human mind is a funny thing.

Unfortunately I only have the two hands ... one for filming and one for the steering wheel. Would be nice to do it in S6 but i don't have the equipment for the camera.

Agreed on the more aggressive sound!

With the stopwatch (which of course is just an estimate) i get it a fraction over a second quicker ... around 11ish stock, 10ish modded. I don't have the software to steady the videos and put them on top of each other. Thought the wife could but it proved more difficult than i anticipated.

If anyone can do this, let me know.
