Hi guys need some info before purchasing the tune! from the reviews it promises to be amazing but I got a few question
I have supersprint headers installed as well as secondary Cat delete.
K&N typhoons
Hartge accelerator booster
Now when I bought the car it came with all of these. The cars been running RICH like a burning oil tank but I figured that during the service and new clutch install the ECU was flashed back to stock and that is why the car runs rich to compensate for the different parameters.

1) Will getting the tune help the RICH problem?
2) Will K&N typhoons etc be incorporated for the high flow of air mass into the tune?
3) will the post-cat o2 sensors be made to switch off (because I just started to get the emissions service message)

Need help before Buying

Hey Bucky. I meant to say petrol fumes that are intolerable (you cannot stand behind the tail pipes) and cant leave the windows open. There is water vapor condensate as well on the tail pipes but keep in mind the car is gutted (no primary or secondary cats at all). As mentioned I think the previous owner had a tune but it was re-flashed back to stock and now no cats or mayebt eh MAF sensors or a combination of the 2 are giving rise to the Rich running of the engine. My query is that will a tune fix these parameters or no.

I have checked in sequence all components such as the MAF (readings were fine) , O2 (they do pop up as error codes when running the car after clearing the fault codes)
Any help/insight.

You will not know until you try the tune to see if it helps with the smell. I doubt it.
I have gutted cats and no 2nd cats with a Evolve stage 3 alpha N tune and there is not much smell at all. I did run around with the standard tune with no cats but can not remember if it smelt or not.

You may have a leaky injector if it is really bad, they are know to fail.

are there any tests to see for bad injectors? I had got them cleaned with new rings but the perplexing thing is the mixture is rich on both banks (checked via gas analyzer)

Could be the MAF's. Go Alpha N and get rid of them.

What about air temp and coolant temp? If they are fine then it seems normal to me.

Best to compare with someone else car with no cats, try a different fuel brand.
