Can anyone help me please, I've just got the modified file from Jim on an email but I've no idea how I get it onto the flash box.
Can anybody help me with the process, it's on a windows 7 PC.

Thanks
Simon.

Yes I downloaded that when I had to get my stock file from the flash box onto the PC but I had a mate talking me through what to do. I've tried opening up the program but can't see what I need to do to get the email file onto the box via the program?

Thanks

OK I'm doing this by memory,
when you download the usr file in attachment that was sent to you to your computer where ever that maybe (download folder was mine) when you open the app the device needs to be connected and a Internet connection for the app. You should have a upload button to select and when you select that then you select the file from the downloaded location and it will do it from there.
Hope this help you

Thanks, ok that's been successful I think. What icon do I tap on the flash box when plugged into the obd port to load the new tune onto the car?

OK great.
When you plug in the device you have four icons, chose the tuning icon which is located top left on screen.
then it is just a matter of selecting your modified file to load.
I got some errors pop up (cruise control, DSC and some others) while it was loading but these are easily cleared with device nothing to worry about.
You should be all done then

Thanks 👍
Loaded ok but when I saw the errors I thought the car was never going to run again!
Took it out for a short drive but it's a bit cold ( tyres spinning ) and too much traffic to give it some. Started from cold and it was smooth and all the noise has gone which is great. At first I didn't really notice much difference but once I put my foot down a couple of times I could tell that the power delivery was smoother and the car just felt more urgent. Need to give it a really good run out soon to feel the full benefit.

Do you know if when those warnings flashed up would it have stored any fault codes? If so can I clear them with the flash box as I noticed it had some other options on the main menu, I only ask as I have the Mondial warranty.

Thanks
Simon

Sorry I couldn't help you earlier. You caught me as I was getting on a plane for 8 hours.

I'm glad you were able to sort everything out.
