Fast Attack Motorsports Dyno Results are in!

The run was done yesterday under 90F heat, with a very weak fan pointed to the car, and another one blowing into the oil cooler... The map had no time to adapt, I basically flashed and ran.

Remember this is a Mustang dyno, and take the HP value with a big stone of salt.

If you want to see what the dyno thinks the peak value is with weather compensation factor :

We also ran in AWD mode, as the Dyno operator had bad experience with these BMW models where you cannot disable traction control completely, so the front wheels were also spun.

I did test the map a couple of days prior to the dyno run (flashed stock back a day prior) , and it felt very very good; more alive and willing to go even in P400 mode. It might be just placebo effect, but I swear I hear the intake more, so it's one more reason to floor it all the time

If you look at the torque gain, I believe what my butt dyno felt is that 28ft.lb gain from 3500 all the way to 5250 RPM's where the torque and HP always meet...

I like it and I highly recommend it; I believe gains are even higher after adaptation and even more so if you have some other mods, like headers/exhaust, etc. Headers are most likely my next mod also...

One more thing, all runs done on 3rd gear plotted above.

I did do one 4th gear run for comparison, but they said it's more stress on the car, as it's much longer, and we reverted to 3rd... It also brings heat soak quicker due to high temperatures.

Nice numbers and there's quite a few people out there with Jim's tune now. I know Randy just flashed his this weekend and letting the car adapt as well. He just text me saying this his shifts are faster and smoother! I imagine your numbers may be slightly better once the car adapts..It's these new things that keep our cars relative to time.

My only mod is the agency power pulley, and removal of carbon filters... that's it. Octane 93 optimized map.

Very nice! Do you plan on going back after the adaptation period? Also how much more responsive is it in your opinion? For me response and smoothness is more important than power so I'm curious about these two points. Thanks!

Nice.

Jim set me with a 91 tune and 100 tune. Can't wait to find the time to load it.

I know my neighbors will appreciate the cold start delete .

I can tell you that you will feel that torque so the car feels much more responsive to throttle input. As i said it also seems to respond quicker on p400 mode, so i like it... If this was a turbo i would say the lag is reduced :-)

I haven't even had time to flash original tune back from Eurocharged to send mine off to Jim

Just dropped her off today to get all the new clutch pieces installed, should be back close of business on Tuesday - hopefully his week I can get it flashed, read and sent off to Jim.

Like others, I have a good list of bolt-on mods that we should be able to see some good power gains from-

I'm also running his tune and I couldn't be more happier. I didn't think I would feel that much of a difference over my last tune but I was wrong the whole car runs smoother from idle on. This is my fourth tune by the way and I'll get it dyno'd like the last ones. The car evens sounds different. Good job Jim
