Re: 2 1/2 year wait list????

You're right a little bit but it would soon add up if you went for a few options.

When I speced mine I'm sure the TV was over £700, so I'd guess the prices still need to be finalised. But it's well worth checking the final pricing when it comes time to pay

Who knows there might even be a price drop, as we will still be waiting after the next registration period in March.

Re: 2 1/2 year wait list????

Forget about a waiting list.

Regardless what youre dealer tells you over here in the US dont bother for a waiting list i garuntee that after one or two months you will be able to get a M5.

Some of those options, i cant see not being standard on the US spec M5. In the US those options have to be standard on a $90k+ car.

In Germany there is no wait list! Just 3 month production planned time. Even on www.mobile.de you get 10% discount!

Re: 2 1/2 year wait list????

Spoke to my local dealer today and have been told that to order one now would mean a wait till 2007 or possibly 2008!!!!!!!!! THATS OUTRAGOUS!!!

Still, at least most of probs associated with new model cars would be sorted.

That's crazy! I have never waited that long. The E63 M6 is my new record, but not 3 years wait. Still, I drove past a 645Ci this morning, and said yes, it's the worth wait!

In anycase, get something else in the meantime.
