I just purchased a new laptop for diagnostics, flashing, and programming and it came with Windows 10. So far no issues, I think it would be fine.

If you're still nervous about it M-chanics is an excellent shop and Evolve dealer with a good reputation and about 40 miles from you in NY.

thanks Mark! just what i needed to hear, going with the RPI GTS-GT Full exhaust system minus the headers need it to pass inspection, also have AFE drop in air filters, minus the charcoal filter removal, will i need a special tune or is the standard tune good enough?:grin
you will be fine, why not buy our exhaust :) I will give you a great deal.. you get quiet mode and bat **** crazy mode :)

Go all the way and do AlphaN. You won't regret it.

Dimm,i hear you on that! trying to get all my ducks in a row, best parts, performance, and pricing! this car takes cash to build, so i would like to do it right the first time, without any bugs or drama in the future. this is why i try and accumulate as much info from various sources, so as to make a better judgment call on all future purchases that i do....:grin

The driver installation issue on 64bit Win10 has been resolved. For 64bit, you must disable Driver Signature Enforcement which prevents the installation of unsigned drivers.

1. Open a Command Prompt with admin privileges.
- Windows key + X and then select “Command Prompt (Admin)”.
2. Type in the following command and press Enter.
bcdedit /set testsigning on
- You should receive “The operation completed successfully” message.
3.Close the Command Prompt and restart your computer.
- From now on, you will be able to install or run any unsigned driver without problems.
4. Connect Evolve-R cable & install Evolve software

If you need to enable the Driver Signature Enforcement again, run this command:
bcdedit /set testsigning off

Thanks to Mark & Mateen @ Evolve
