Evolve Tuning/Upgrades (and a quick wheels question)

I have spent quite some time reading posts, stickies and watching videos of cars which have been modified to various degrees by Evolve Automotive. It is clear they have proven results and also claim to have got 568bhp out of the M5.

I am pretty much committed to making the following mods to my M5

Intake
Headers
Exhaust
Remap

...maybe some wheels if i can find lighter & better looking ones that OEM.

At first i was considering a pick n mix of manufacturers for the above...possibly Dinan exhaust etc but the more i think about it the more i'm coming round to the idea of getting the whole lot done by Evolve. The intake seems to be a no brainer, i like the fact you can make the exhaust quieter when you want to and so on.

The questions:

1. Has anyone here got all of the above done by Evolve, and if so, what does it sound like. i cant find any good videos online which demonstrate as they all have slightly different setups.

2. When the exhaust valve is closed is it still much louder than the stock exhaust? Hard to tell with videos due to changes in recording quality.

3. if anyone has had all this work done, have they got any dyno results i could see?

4. Have you experienced any technical issues with the car since having the work done...management lights, failed MOT's...any slight drawbacks in fact?

5. On a totally separate note, i have been through the 'show me your wheels' thread (yes all 60 odd pages) and cannot find an example of something i really like on SILVERSTONE ii. In hindsight I find it an awkward colour to match wheels to. So if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. I'm looking for something similar in styling to the HREp40's, Miro 111s etc but they need to be 19" not 20" and ideally should be lighter than the OEM's, certainly not heavier. pictures are of course welcomed :)

Thanks in advance

I had the Evolve exhaust on my E60 and have nothing but good things to say about it. One of the valves went bad a few months after purchase, but the Evolve guys sent me two brand new ones in 3 days and haven't had any issues since.

P.S. I'm actually selling the exhaust - http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/exhaust-discussion-sale-wanted/469970-evolve-e-tronic-exhaust.html

P.P.S. I'm also selling my wheels, but they're 20", so not sure if you'd be interested. There's a thread on the E60 for sale sub-forum and pics in the wheels thread in here.

You wont have any drawbacks.. headers, intake and tune will open up the V10.. On a good day with low iats and 93 octane, id expect 500whp+ on dynojet... Pulley for this car i think is not worth the money, as i believe they make 0 power.. And exhaust after the headers is all preference to loudness, not much power.. So headers, tune, intake will be addressing the top 3 power mods for the V10..

The evolve cat-back exhaust seems to be the way to go. If only it wasn't so expensive (when converted into AUD's) at $5 grand.

I was just about to tag you in this thread. You're the only person I know of that will have the Evolve Tubular headers paired with the E-Tronic exhaust on this side of the Atlantic. Are you still doing the headers?
