Today after 3 days of parking the car i tried to turn on the car and
The car didn't start..
Is it the alternator regulator?
The alternator was checked there was nothing wrong
The regulator V WAS shfting between 11.4 to 12 max
Is it the regulator that caused the battery death?
first i recharged the battery and everything was fine, i drove the car to the garage which was far from the park location..
after an hour in the garage we turned it on and the car turned on with no problems at all.
while driving it to the garage i did not face any problems like , shut down on full stop or blinking screen or any problem in
the electricity of the car, nothing at all.
the regulator was giving on the scanner 11.2 to 12.1 max voltage.. as a fault and "check alternator"..
yes the voltage is too low .. this what the regulator was giving on the scanner when scanned...
i am not sure and i do not know if the regulator is the issue.. i do not know if there is another place that making the electricity run out and empty the battery..
Was having the same symptoms on mines a few months ago. Alternator or regulator was on its way out. One day just gave charging system fault and stayed there. Replaced the alternator. Only thing i mistakenly overlooked that drained my battery over the week when i don't drive the car was my OBD2 Bluetooth scanner i left plugged into the port. Did not notice that stays constantly powered and killed the battery after about 4 days of sitting, but i doubt that is your issue. I don't know how good it is to do just a regulator swap on these, i would just get a new oem alternator. Good Luck
