If it is measurable in any way with a dial indicator along the braking surface, I would return it. It is a thickness variation at that point that will cause an increased friction point-source, therefore localized/uneven heat generation. If your finger can feel it along the pad surface, so would a dial indicator.
Given the (over)price for these things, no way in hell would I accept that.
I would return it since you're paying for brand new rotors. But that's just me. Not sure if it's an emergency for you to install now; if not, return it.
Did you buy it from a dealer? Or an aftersales site like RME, AutohausAZ, ECS, FCP, etc....?
