Just received these LED bulbs from the states for my M5,just wondering why there is no lead in the box as there is on the packaging? Maybe its a direct plug into OEM leads? I dont wanna spend an hour removing the headlight to find out i haven't got all the bits i need to fit them! Can anyone verify if i'm ok or the part i need before i start, here is the kit.....

Thanks in advance for any info :1zhelp:

Are these for Angel eyes or turnsignals? You dont need to remove the headlight to swap turnsinals.. Its a tight fit and a bit hard to twist out but it's doable. Have done it several times.

Like the previous person said, it's impossible to do the change without disconnecting the headlight assembly and taking it out at least slightly. I've tried when I was installing mine, but I still needed to take the whole thing out.

OP,

What year is your car? If it is a pre-LCI you have to remove the headlights to change the angel eye bulbs.

If it is LCI than you can get away with it by leaving the headlights installed in the car. Most don't have an issue but some can't reach their hands in that area.
