For those who can identify ALL of the shown engine parts.......
Hi Guys,
First of all, Gustav, those are fantasic pictures!
Can someone who is familiar will ALL of the photos make a list with the names of the shown parts, in order with the photo number sequence. Obviously, there are some photos that are clearly identifiable but as a non-technical person, there are several PICS that I had no idea what I was looking at, so I'd like to know exactly what it is, Im seeing, when viewing Gustav's E60 M5 engine PICS.
Thank you very much. Beautiful photos!
Robert

11= Waterpump impeller and pulley assembly.
14= Hydraulic lifter (see picture 23 for assembled picture)
9= I think it's the drive by wire throttle control???
That exhaust is a work of art.

Re: Press Release July 23rd High-res Engine Part pics
I am totally in love with this motor. This is a beautiful engineering piece of art.
Man, am I confused. I don't like the exterior or the interior of the E60 M5 but love what you can't see.
Don't know what I'm going to do. Am #2 on the list so we'll see.

WOW!

What a great, beautiful technical exercise. A real example of the art & science of engine design and implementation. Should be a real treat to own and drive! Can't wait!
I'd hate to be an aftermarket tuner trying to extract more from this beauty!
