I think that the new 7 speed SMG III will help the low numbers of torque of the E60 M5's V10 engine

My Nowack tuned M5 as many of you sow in the video was faster then the SL55 AMG that had 700 nm of torque specially in top speeds and my M5 has only 580 nm of torque. The gear ratios are very important as well as the weight and aerodynamics of the car. As most of you know that if you had an engine with alot alot of torque a short ratio gear is not the best thing for it.

BMW M will not release a slower car specially with the big numbers of HP and torque in these days cars.

Lets wait and see what the E60 M5 will do

Very nice specs. Its nice to get a little bump in torque too (520NM=~384 lb/ft).

Those pictures were gone in no time.

Luckily I saved the power graph A bit similar to the Gallardo one I presume.

Absolutely amazing!!! Can't remember seeing a car with peak torque at such high rpms. Sounds like the engine is willing to rev!!! Amazing engine!!! Hopefully it fits the Z4 with Hartge help.

It would be nice, if with the help of the 7 gears, the revs never drop below 6000/min.
