Exclamation Paris Auto Show - Launch of production M5

I was a little disappointed that the Geneva car was only a concept, but everyone who saw it agreed that it was as close to production as any concept car can be.

It looks almost certain that production will start in September/October for the first E60 M5 cars. The European (World?) debut should therefore be in Paris (barring any last minute disasters).

The event takes place from September 25th until October 10th and I would expect the M5 press launch at the beginning of the show, followed by a display of the final production car.

Assuming all this is correct, I plan to attend sometime during the last week of September.

Is anyone else interested in coming to this show?

Here is the link:

p.s. Hopefully it won't be snowing on the Autoroute in September

Here are some recommended hotels - any ideas on where you guys would like to stay? The Holiday Inn etc. are already pretty fully booked:

Re: Paris Auto Show - Launch of production M5

Hello Ashok,
I'm definitively interested but there is the Oktoberfest more or less at the same time so it's a bit early to say for sure.
