E60 exhaust modification...
Hi all,
As you may know I have the E60 530d. I was browsing the net and found these pictures.
The normal exhaust on the 530d looks like this:
But it could also look like this. I donīt know if I like it, but itīs different.
What do you think......to much like the M5...?
All the best,
Michael.

Re: E60 exhaust modification...
Well the standard tips doesn't look very good at all but I'm not to sure on one pipe on each side for the diesel..
If I were you I would change the tip but not make it twin pipes if you know what I mean.

The black E60 looks very nice! Wheels looks quite tasteful too.

Re: E60 exhaust modification...
Yeah, just get a single side exahust with a straight tip. It'd be too much work to do a dual exhaust for a disel and it won't add any performance.

Re: E60 exhaust modification...
I think it looks very nice- so what if its a little too close to the M look? The downside is it looks a little similar to the exhaust tips GM uses here on some Pontiacs. Overall, I like it.

Re: E60 exhaust modification...
Hey its very nice but there e is a reason why the pipes are pointed down...
Your car will look very dirty after some long highway trips!
So it will only look good when it is clean.

Re: E60 exhaust modification...
I like the black one muuch better. BMW needs to change the E60's bottome of its back side. It is simply too high when you look from the side. The back just looks like a typical american car that is unstable. I sure hope that they will fix this on the M5.

Re: E60 exhaust modification...
I like the tips much more then the stock setup. They almost look like AC Schnitzer tips from the oval shape that is their trademark. I find it odd that they did dual outlets though? There most not be much restricting the way of doing that like their was on the E39.
