New M1?
Don't know if this is a repost or not.....
Can anyone tell me what this is?
Is it a concept or a design study......or could it be as my title suggests, an M1?
Obviously a Bangle creation as seen by the "flame surface" treatment.

Re: New M1?
I think this is more of a design study than anything else. As far as I know, there are no plans to release a M1 type car through 2008.

Re: New M1?
i think this is a design project done by a student from a car design school.

Re: New M1?
Although it's not the twin, The shape and size seem to be a bit like the Gallardo.

Re: New M1?
It looks quite nice, except the front lights IMO. It certainly is better looking than the 'new m2'

Re: New M1?
jos,
but they would be aimed at vastly different markets- the "M2" in the other thread is a modified 1 series- I think it will get a modified I6 engine, and I think they are going for E30 M3 driving dynamics. The "M1" here is supposed to be BMWs next "supercar" with a price to match.

Re: New M1?
What a beautiful looking design. I believe there is a very good chance that BMW will produce a supercar within the next 5 year. After all everyone including MB, Audi and Porsche already have supercars in production

Re: New M1?
if McLaren can team up with Mercedes-Benz to make a supercar.
why can't Williams make a supercar powered by BMW V10?!
man, that'll be just perfect!
probably the only way to dethrone McLarenF1

Re: New M1?
It maybe the chunky styling and the pic maybe deceiving but it looks pretty small to be BMW's next supercar.
