im usually not in the m5 section, but i have a friend with a 06 m5 and his drivers door comfort access is not responding, but all other doors work
correct
anyone heard of this? did we miss something in the idrive settings?
Mine acts up sometimes so what I'm going to try to do first is to remove the diversity antennae and clean off the contacts, that seems to have worked for some people.
thanks for the responses. ive read the listed (thanks by the way) threads and it seems like there is a trigger in the door that can fail and the diversity antenna can go bad. my friend says the other doors work fine but it could be because, at the rear doors, he is closer to the antenna and it just works.
i just feel bad for him because he liked my m6, so he bought a m5 from a suggestion by me and has had nothing but problems. i love these cars but they are quirky.
thanks everyone, ill update the post as soon as we figure it out
thanks yall.... we got it figured out.... it was user error on both our parts..... we were trying to "armbar" it when i didnt need a MMA ARMBAR lol
