These obviously have a whole bunch of clad and junk on them to hide the real design.
They cant be real since we know BMW is changing around the infamous bangle-butt to lessen or get rid of it totally.
Looking at those pictures the bangle butt is worse than that of the E65!
I'm pretty sure the rear of the E60 will look fine. All this bangle butt clad business is probably there now just to throw people off!
Anyhow, no reason to argue or get all upset until we see official pictures and that wont be until February 2003 or so IMO.

Actions speak louder than words. Look at the 7.

Guys, just a reminder. This thing is 8 months away from production. The manufacturers who OEM to BMW must be getting the molds ready for parts. Remember the 7 series 8 months before production? We all speculated that trunk was fake. Well, it turns out it was not!

Has it ever occurred to you that some people might like this car? If you people are that resistant to change, yeah, go ahead and get an E55.

I don't think it's awful, nor do I think it's a big step forward.
We'll see what it looks like when it hits the showrooms.
Some of Bangle Motor Works' latest directions - like the sculpted sides and the turn-signal-over-the-headlight - are just tacky aping of Japanese trends, there's not much original about them.
I'm not that sensitive to vehicle appearance, though I have to say the new Jag X350 is looking really good...
