Help me choose my M5

Hello wonderful people on this board,

My name is Aldiyar and I am from Boston, MA and I need your help!

I was searching for an E60 M5 for a very long long time - It all started by looking for 2006-2008 M5's, due to budget concerns, and didn't really find anything that I liked or satisfied my needs in terms of condition/miles/color etc., so just recently, my budget miraculously got a nice boost (Thanks Dad) and I am now searching for awesome 2010 M5's!

The problem is actually choosing between three cars that I am torn about:

1) 2010 M5, SMG, Carbon Black, Black Leather/Alcantara, Fully Optioned and looks very well maintained

2) 2010 M5, SMG, Alpine White, Indy Red/Alcantara, Fully Optioned - except M Active seats...torn about this!

3) 2010 M5, SMG, Carbon Black, Black Leather/Alcantara, Same as the first one expect the Enhanced Audio.

Basically, which one would you pick? Based on what factors? All opinions welcome!

First link isn't working for me...the active seats are cool but I wouldn't consider them a deal breaker...especially with that kinda mileage. Instead of comparing the slight differences in options, I would start with the service history of each and all things being equal, go with the lowest mileage (read: longest remaining factory warranty).

The link for the first one isn't working for me. I tried to go to their website directly and that isn't working either.

I like alpine white but not really digging the color of the wood trim and the red leather the low mileage is a def plus though. If it were me it would be between both the carbon blacks, in my opinion enhanced audio is a plus but wouldn't be a deal breaker without. I would just let the miles and most importantly how much they are willing to go down on price between the two and let that determine which one you get!

Good luck! They look good!

Thanks! The first one is at Weatherford BMW, and I am not sure how its not available to see it! How much do you think I can negotiate? What would be the appropriate price range for the cars of the above conditions?

Nice Dad! You can send him my way

Anyway my .02

1. LOVE the white, that's the color we were searching for but it didn't work out for us... But...the red might hinder your ease of resale a bit because it really only talks to certain people
2. While active seats weren't important when we were buying, the one we ended up with has them and we LOVE them. They just really make the car seem special. We were more concerned with HUD (which is the only option we don't have) and honestly don't miss.
3. While options are important you really have to drive each of them. When we were looking we drove quite a few and lame as it sounds the one we bought really felt right. Miles mean something for sure, but we drove ones around 30k-40k and the one we bought had 50k and seemed so much more sound and solid. So my point is to be more concerned with the maintenance and quality of each specific vehicle.
4. Enhanced audio would be nice but not a deal breaker.
Just my .02

Thank you very much, I appreciate your input! The problem for me is that I can't drive any of them as I have no time to fly around the US (All cars are in different states) however, I do have a friend in San Francisco who is going to test drive the first one on the list. Lets see how it pans out.

I would go for 1 or 3, not a fan of red interior at all and the wood trim looks like something my dad would drive.

I am 30mins from Berkeley
