Is CarID a good/honest company to buy wheels from?
Is CarID a good/honest company to buy wheels from? They currently have the Beyern Baroque Wheels on there website for $190 each:
BEYERN™ BAROQUE Wheels - Chrome Rims

I have read many complaints about CarID on the internet. But this price on the Beyern wheels sounds amazing.

I think you answered your own question by saying you've read bad things about the company on the Internet. I have no experience with that company but I would be very wary of doing business with them if there's a bunch of complaints on the web. If it looks too good to be true then it probably is.

Don't know anything about them but I tend to look at the complaints about a company to get a general feel for their quality of service... just like checking the negative feedback like in eBay.

190/ea is probably 17x8.5 "wheels starting at..."

The real question is whether you believe the risk is worth the money. Personally I would suggest contacting one of the several respectable and very helpful M5board vendors.

They seem to have a good selection and reasonable prices even with a set of tires. I have been looking into purchasing a set from them, as well. I haven't heard anything negative, though.
