Someone in Germany is selling a E63 Prototype, which is said to be wrecked in an accident.

Sounds fishy to me. I thought BMW usually destroys their prototypes. Besides, why would they give someone their prototype before the car has been launched publicly?

I guess whoever brought that prototype 6 series can fix it up by using the tail from the 745i, the nose from the new Z4 and borrow other misc part from other bmw parts bin as replacement part of the 6 series are not available for another 2 years

anyway on serious side, I agree with Simon prototypes are usually destroyed and are not for sale.
