I have been looking to get a E60 M5 soon but still holding off until I get a good hold on whats available for aftermarket warranties. Im afraid that if I wait until spring to purchase a car that my selection of warranties will be very limited & costly. Seems like lots of companies exclude the M5.

Spoke to BMW of south county's Finance manager today .
According to him the fidelity Platinum plus coverage is the way to go .
I have an 06 with 56k miles

was quoted $4900 for 2years/24miles $6400 for 3/36k .... and the coverages go up .
Of course they have a gold package but I think the platinum is the way to go .

IMO. way to expensive . I paid $2600 for a 5 year warranty on a my e55 with similar mileage and coverage and that was 2 years ago.
