Good link, i enjoyed the article. that alpine white M6 is pretty sexy.

I think generally speaking, the M6 wins in the looks department in the next gen M.

Except for sahkir orange M5's. I fell in love with that car/color combo

Anyone super knowledgeable about tires? I just replaced replaced my rear PS2s two weeks ago (tire blow out during Targa Trophy Rally). Would I achieve any benefit with replacing my fronts with the pilot super sports or will it not make much of a difference since I have new rear PS2s and not pilot super sports?

Personally, I'm not a fan of mixing -- call me old school. I would think running stickier PSSs would encourage the car to want to swap ends. I could be wrong, but I know if I'm running square, new tires go on the rear and old tires go to the front.

I just got two new rear PS2 when i went to my 19's to match my barely used fronts from my stock set up. I really wanted to go with four new PSSs, but couldn't bare the thought of not using my barely used PS2s. I think I could have gotten away with running the stickier PSSs in the rear and the PS2s up front. But, at the end of the day, I just decided to stay with the PS2s at all four corners.

More reason to get rims. I hope Michelin releases a 285/35/r19 tire size in the super sports for us that are running stock wheels.

Was thinking of running a 275/35ZR19 in the rear in the pilot sports since the 285/35/r19 isn't there and thought a 285/40/r19 might be to big, any thoughts?

I know with the 285/40/r19 the diameter difference is 4.01%, which some experts say is dangerous, brake failure, etc. Guess I answered my own question, lol

For this reason, I went to 20" wheels. Wow these tires are incredible. On the street and track they suit our cars perfectly.

Not really used to the extra grip over the Hankook V12 Ventus yet! Before drifting wasn't all that difficult but now it fights you back for grip.

No brainier that I'll get another set as soon as these are warn out.
