Beautiful new M5 WOW!

Came across this pic on the official gumball twitter.

I don't know what exact color this is but man is it gorgeous. I would love to see what my M6 looks like with this finish.

It almost looks like a matte finish. Just thought I would share.

there is a thread on here somewhere someone did this to an e60 m5 it actually looked pretty cool its almost like a flat alpina blue.

huh not bad. Not sure I'm 100% digging it versus a gloss finish, but it's definitely different.

i believe it's called frozen blue. for $5k extra BMW is offering multiple frozen finishes now, kinda like they were doing on the e92 M3's. I like it, but wonder how the finish would hold up to daily driving.

okay so i assume its a paint not a wrap so to keep the gloss low do they use clear coat at all? if not its got to be a real pain to keep the blemishes away. i too wonder about the longevity of this paint.

It's what they call Frozen as already stated, but anybody considering better do their home work first as though I think they look sick; I would not own one unless it was a garage queen! Read this and then decide: BMW Matte Paint Care Guidelines | Frozen Paint Care | Matte Car Care

Isn't that color only available in the UK for the M5 "M Performance Model".

Yes, BMW has gone crazy with the M&M nomenclature. Haha.

So I guess this goes for matte wraps too? Looks like I will need to purchase a matte paint sealant and matte final inspection spray.
