Red cog 05 euro help

Well I never thought this would happen but the red cog has appeared.

I was driving around a round a bout in 2nd gave it a little gas and popped out of gear and revved with the red cog dinging on the centre console and dash.

Doesnt engage immediately, accelerate nothing engages then "bang" like I have been smashed from the rear, try to accelerate then next gear same thing revs trying to catch engagement then slight bang. So on and so on each gear, then suddenly disappears when I give it more revs starting from stand still and acts normal. Turn car off no codes literally never happened, drive car normal for 3 mins then bang it's up again cog on I drive goes from red to yellow still tells me to drive moderately and keeps doing same scenario of revving and missing gears. Clutch once engaged does not slip seems the hydraulic pump does not select gearing with correct pressure (I guess) as it will rev rev rev then in gear.

I think it's been coming for a while as I uses to put the car in 1st sometimes and it would thud and give the sensation of being hit in the back a little.

Would really appreciate any help or advice on part numbers to replace, I am under the assumption I am looking at hydraulic pump, smg pump, new battery, relays, clutch and bearing/flywheel, clutch position sensor. Best to do it all at once I think and eliminate all future problems.

Please advise where to get parts at best prices and what the main cause may be.

Thank you

I bought a clutch and flywheel from eurocar parts for £800, SAKS clutch kit and LUK flywheel, they are the exact same ones that the stealers use, stealers quoted me £1400 for the flywheel and £900 for the clutch
