'08 Black Sapphire M5 Novice Shoot with 20" Radenergie R10's

Just acquired these from a fellow member, put brand new Yokohama s.Drive's on size 255 35/285 30. Also have BMW Performance black grilles, Eibach springs and Corsa axle back exhaust. Enjoy:

Thanks for the comments...

Those asking about the exhaust - yes I love it. Aesthetically, I've always loved double wall tips. I also did not want to go much bigger than stock diameter and wanted a baloney cut staggered setup...so the Corsa met ALL my requirements.

Sound wise, I did not want to spend the money on a quieter section 3 and then have to do a section 2. I think for ~$1,500, the Corsa is a great system with an aggressive noise level. It is tuned for the M5, so there is zero drone, and it is quiet when you're not on it. However, when I drop the hammer, the noise picks up substantially. It has a wonderful tone that does a great job of enhancing the oh so sweet sound of the S85.

Of course loud is a subjective thing, but I wouldn't want to go any louder since the M5 is a combination of sport and luxury. Any louder and it would be too obnoxious for me. By the way, I am one of those guys that loves the cold start, and this amplifies it by a factor of almost 2 - you've been warned!

I could never see myself spending twice the coin for a Dinan. Although I own an M5, I am for the most part a value-based guy. That's why I get my cars 3-4 years old, and feel you are getting a whole lot for the money with the Corsa (and with a pre-owned M5!!)

great post.

I enjoyed the pics. Your stance/profile is top notch. I believe you have achieved a great balance of...how you stated..sport & luxury. And the best part it is exactly how you wanted it! nice
