E61 M5 Touring -08

Here you go. Couple of pics of my new baby after a wash, no mods installed. Couldn't be happier right now. Eisenmann race ordered, coming probably 9/12. Tint also coming in a moment. Traded my E93 M3 and 1M coupe for this. A different kind of animal, but feels very fast and better as a family car. The 1M coupe felt much faster because of the torque and the low weight, but the M5 also feels faster than the M3. M3 weights about the same, but the M5 has 120 Nm more torque and 87 more Hp. Now can't wait for the Eisenmann and some track time next week!

That is one beautiful fat pig. You are going to enjoy the track, but she will eat up the pads. Many guys have commented on CoolCarbon pads being a great pad for the track.

I wish we could get the E61 over here, my wife wants one.

Enjoy

I love the E61, I really wish that we got those in the US with manual transmissions.

So jealous! Suprised you managed to find one for sale, I read somewhere they only made about 600? Too bad North America didnt get any. Beautiful colour choice as well. I have the same colour on my E60 Once it kills the first set of brake pads, try Hawk Brake pads or CoolCarbon pads, theyre suppost to be really good; night and day difference. Post up some vids of the beast when you get some track time!!

Aside from the bad photoshop on the first pic, I'm loving the shots. What a beauty! If this car were in the states it would be the perfect car. So jealous!
