Guys, the beast did something weird today. Oscillating Engine/RPM

I was in S6/P500 driving on this country road at around 35-40mph at around 3500rpm. I was keeping the rpm steady but as the car approached a light uphill, I heard the engine rpm go up and down as if I were applying more throttle and then letting off the throttle. I looked at the dash and I did not see anything suspicious, no lights, no rpm oscillation. This happened very quickly and it went away just as quickly. After what it seemed like a few seconds, it stopped doing it. WTH?

What's the level of fuel? How long ago did you fill up your tank?

I know the oscillation at cold idle.

Fuel was on the low side, had 30 miles left in the tank.

Mine does that occasionally too; almost like it's going to stall. I think I read somewhere about cleaning the ISV (idle stabilizer valve)?

As the clutch is brand new with about 2,000-3,000 miles on it.
