CT: Now a proud owner of a 2007 Interlagos Blue M5

Hello all, I figured I would formally introduce myself here. I come from a list of BMW's that I have owned for the past 12 years. This is my first M5 and I was lucky enough to pick it up from AJ in NC last week (also another forum member). I ended up picking up the car from him after posting a WTB thread on here. My vehicle is a 2007 Interlagos Blue BMW M5 with silverstone leather interior. All options you can think of including SMG. I recently sold my 2004 330ci zhp and all feelings of sadness immediately washed away after I drove this car.

So far, I have just completed an oil change and I am getting new oem pads installed/rotors shaved this Thursday at JG Technik in Branford CT. They do great work and have worked on my former BMW for a little over a year before the sale. Willing to meet up with any other M owners within the area. My M currently has a Dinan exhaust, Eibach Springs, Spacers and Tints all around. Not really planning on much else other than an AFE Stage 2 intake and BBS rims. I need to sell my 18" BBS RC's first. Below are quick cell pics and a list of the options on my vehicle.

Also a quick vid clip of my cousin driving my old ride back from NC after picking up the M5

Congrats. I love the look of the active seats in silverstone.

I want an alpine/whatever but I swear if one like yours pops up it definitely will be considered. its just the best exterior/interior combo to me possible.

Thanks, this time around I wanted a specific ext/interior color combo and did not compromise. Only thing I compromised on was the SMG vs manual and boy am I glad I did. The SMG can shift way faster than I ever could.

yea that would have made it even harder since there was only like 1000 manuals and who knows how many in that combo. I've never asked but how do jeans do on those seats?

The interior does dirty very easily, but I stay on top of it. Expected with a light interior, but that is the trade off vs the deathly black leather in the summers.

Congrats on the purchase. I too have silverstone interior and yes you do to stay on top of it. I just got some forged wheels for my ride and have not decided on which springs i want. If you are ever in the greater hartford area please let me know because i want to the ride on lowered springs.

If you like your SMG now, look up one of the members on the board to get the Euro flash done and it will be even faster and smoother (that is, of course, if it has not already been flashed). If you don't know much about it, do a search. There is not a better bang for the buck mod out there. It makes downshifts smooth, upshifts quick and it my opinion, makes the vehicle feel even more refined.

Ah I was actually in Avon this past Saturday for the wedding. I do not head up that way much as I am originally from NYC and my family/friends are predominantly now in Westchester County/Fairfield County.

Thanks for the input, I am not sure if this mod has been done, is there a way I can check if I plug this into input? I have done custom coding in my E46 through input so if there is a way to check the revision number please let me know. I know custom programming has already been done to put my vehicle in ///M - S mode and the 7th shift setting just by touching the M button. I do not need to navigate through I drive to unlock it.
