Zurich Warranty Question

Was reading through a thread about auto warranties. One of the warranty companies would not cover a vehicle if it had aftermarket wheels. Anyone know if that is the case with zurich?

I did a search and checked zurich's home page but I could not find any info on this.

Thanks much!

I have Zurich and have been extremely pleased with them. Granted I don't have after market wheels but I can't fathom them not providing coverage due to after market wheels. They've been fine with my other mods..

That's not all you have that is after market! The wheels are nothing compared to your other mods. If they still cover you with all of that, then
that really is a good policy....

Their contract, like all 3rd party warranty contracts, state that any modification to the car that is not approved by the car manufacturer can void your coverage.

Now wheels are rarely called out as a reasonto void a claim unless you put 24" spinners on there and then file a claim for control arm bushings. Most SA's and inspectors let wheels go as long as they are not so obviously bad for the car that they are causing problems.

But they CAN void your coverage for them. BEst to keep your stock wheels, and if you have a claim whre an inspector is coming out, swap them back on.
