M5 Facelift Project

Hey guys,

I've really been suffering from withdrawal since my car has been at the body shop under the knife for several weeks. It was touch and go initially, but I'm pleased to say that it looks like the prognosis will be positive. Several modifications are ongoing with lights, bumpers, wheels, and paint. This all started with the front bumper needing a respray and has spiraled into a full blown mod project!

I still have 2 - 3 weeks worth of work left before completion, but I thought I'd give you a teaser of things to come. I'll use this thread to continue to update the progression...

This looks good I am interested to see if they would want to do a "group buy" for it.

Looks good so far...john morgan evans photoshopped this a while back...perhaps some of you guys missed it:

Definitely looks interesting...can't wait to see how yours turns out. I've juggled the idea of doing this conversion as well after seeing a few E92s make the change. Looks good and unique.

Keep us posted!

Yeah, I have had several phone calls with JME over the last few months and he has been extremely helpful in guiding me through this process. Props to the mod master. I have my fingers crossed that I'm past the tough fab parts. The other stuff is more straight forward but will still be pretty unique.

The headlight project should interest you guys too. DK, I know you JME, and AngelSlayer have done some pretty cool stuff with lights. Just hoping mine can be on that level.

Is that really a piece of 1M bumper grafted to the M5 bumper or is it piece of an aftermarket bumper that looks 1Mish?
